Bridge to College

Portfolio Development Resources

Developing a portfolio is an excellent exercise in understanding your creativity- and essential for applying to college. The Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design has a Portfolio Review Portal so you can upload your work and have an arts professional review your portfolio whether you are a high school student or transfer student. This service will be offered for FREE for a limited time, eventually the cost will be $5.00 per portfolio. Check out the page hereThis is a resource for all art disciplines.

Here are a few resources on how to photograph your art:
How to Photograph Art or Just About Anything else by JR Compton from the Dallas Art Review
Note: the technical information in the article above by JR Compton is updated very frequently. It is a great resource.
