Bridge to College

The Oxbow School

The Oxbow School Is a single semester art and academic program for high school students located in Napa, CA and is regarded as one of the best art programs in the country.

The Oxbow School is pleased to partner with the California State Summer School Arts Foundation (CSSSAF) to offer a minimum of one $10,000 scholarship for the one semester Oxbow School program to an exceptional CSSSA alumnus who is accepted to Oxbow. The award is designed to cover a substantial portion of the costs of attending Oxbow.

Students substitute one semester of their junior or senior year with a semester at Oxbow where they stay on track for high school graduation and have a life changing experience with young people from all over the country.

Oxbow has a reputation for transforming the lives of high school students through rigorous academics and intensive studio art practice. Students come from diverse backgrounds across the country to learn creative problem solving and self sufficiency through experiential mentor-based learning. They take the skills they learn at Oxbow with them to the best colleges and universities in the country and credit Oxbow with preparing them for their futures.
